Iwobi was nothing to do with settling in, he was here about 3 years before putting in anything close to a great performance.

A new position, belief from the Lampard, not bottling challenges, and putting in 100% effort at all times is the difference from him.

The title reads as ‘players who took a while to settle…’ and then you went on to say “Got thinking about this in relation to Iwobi's recent form…”.

That’s why I highlighted that Iwobi was awful for ages. It’s got nothing to do with trying to start an argument

if the room is empty then there would be no one to argue with.

maybe if you though about what you were writing before you posted.

I actually think he stepped up fairly rapidly in that context.

In a way he did, in terms of step up, he was here for a half season without much of a look bar Europa dead rubbers, went on loan to Blackpool the following year, getting the nod at times the following year on his return - but not at fulll back initially if my memory is right he got into the team as a right winger, with Hibbo in behind. But he was here a good year and half at that stage.

I was about to say that. He was okay at first but it took a few years to grow into the leader we certainly needed at the time.
