PS2 still has the best support.

Blue ray addition is a bit overrated and the price has dropped drastically for the blue ray player stand alone. PS3 nice look but way over priced for me not as much fun value games yet.

For me and the economies of scale stick with the PS2 or opt for a X-box360 my personal favourite.

but if you have neither a xbox360 or a ps3, and want a next gen console and a blu-ray player too, the ps3 is better value still at this moment in time hardware wise.

I dont see how anyone can say blu-ray addition is overrated, especially with bdlive on the way, I can vouch for a few friends recently who have plumped for the ps3 over the 360 because of blu-ray, so its slowly but surely becoming a more important component in an 'hd' entertainment setup.

Ive had my ps3 since the day it came out..march '07 i think it was..its been sat in the box for the last 8 months doing nothing but the wife bought me dead space for it and out its come..not a bad console..just damned expensive.
