I'm sure a fair few of you will be pleased to hear that we'll be taking a zero tolerance approach and removing any new threads started solely on the merit of what the following have reported;

Censored Frivolous Websites
  • Goal
  • Daily Mail
  • Tribal Football
  • Metro
  • Fanatix
  • TalkSport
  • The People
  • FootyLatest

We will be adding more to the list. In time, any new thread with a link to any of our 'censored websites' will be automatically filtered from view.

Please reply with recommendations to add to our 'censored websites'. Websites which in your view, repeatedly peddle bollocks.

This evening we've had a couple of fans create new threads on Coleman moving to Liverpool - on the back of this steaming pile of crap;

We then notice people elsewhere saying "I read on GrandOldTeam that Seamus Coleman is going to Liverpool......"

Let's not allow fellow Blues to become agitated and add weight and credibility to absolute nonsense!

Probably, when people excitedly post from tribal.com as if it was manna from heaven, you'll see why this is a good idea. The general problem with the idea is that the most "successful" sources are only 30% correct, so we need to make the list as small as possible, or else you might was well ban them all, or set up a rule e.g. You can only post if from multiple sources etc.

Nonetheless, the resultant blaming Everton for not signing players they were not interested in is better than reporting Everton being linked with over 15 players, the majority we will never purchase from the most dubious of sources.
