I'm sure a fair few of you will be pleased to hear that we'll be taking a zero tolerance approach and removing any new threads started solely on the merit of what the following have reported;

Censored Frivolous Websites
  • Goal
  • Daily Mail
  • Tribal Football
  • Metro
  • Fanatix
  • TalkSport
  • The People
  • FootyLatest

We will be adding more to the list. In time, any new thread with a link to any of our 'censored websites' will be automatically filtered from view.

Please reply with recommendations to add to our 'censored websites'. Websites which in your view, repeatedly peddle bollocks.

This evening we've had a couple of fans create new threads on Coleman moving to Liverpool - on the back of this steaming pile of crap;

We then notice people elsewhere saying "I read on GrandOldTeam that Seamus Coleman is going to Liverpool......"

Let's not allow fellow Blues to become agitated and add weight and credibility to absolute nonsense!

I've never seen a forum as nice to new members as this one, mate.

Unless said new members are the kind who do nothing but post jarg rumours, use no punctuation and all caps, insult other Evertonians and so on. And a lot of the recent newbies fall into these categories. Is kipper down or something?

No mate this is actually the friendliest and least cliquey forum i've ever been on, its the reason i've stuck around and not just got bored and seeing what it takes to get banned.

It's a very friendly forum but there are some VERY dominant posters on here who, when they disagree with someone who has not been on the site very long, tend to belittle the poster and their buddies jump in on it, the 'there aren't enough facepalms in the world' hyperbole routine when someone makes a point that isn't even vaguely controversial. And if anyone dares to express a view that Kenwright is not some sort of embezzling, evil, koppite antichrist there are a gang of people who go mental, even if you criticise Kenwright but don't go far enough they have a pop. In the face of all of that, the stupid rumours doing the rounds don't seem like that big a deal.

Just my 2p.

I havent really noticed that mate but just see it as more people you can have fun with until they admit they're wrong. If someone's out of order i've noticed other members are very quick to point it out and defend the other poster, good that its quite self-policing in that regard.

I've already stated im willing to lead a pro-pineapple rebel alliance yet have had less support than Kenwright in a blue union sleepover. As for the homophobia... I just cant slate them, the gays give a lot to society with their pink pound and camp culture. Im a big fan.

Windy, you just said what we are all thinking.

The Goat and that canny Scot started all this cliquish stuff, don't worry about 'em mate. They can sit in their little clubhouse playing with each others Willies.

I don't really mind the jarg rumour threads though, i mean, you can't start black-listing footie sites can you? Granted this is your sandpit and you can do what you like with it, but i guess if people put money into it, they should have a say, like shareholders.

Do we really want to start a War with Tribal Footie?
