I think he'd be tempted. What other job is he getting in the near future? No champions league ones. Everton is a free hit for him. Improve us and keep us up then his reputation is enhanced. We go down and it's not blamed on him because we were in a mess anyway and he can leave to another job when one comes up. Money talks, managers have big egos. He'll think he can keep us in the league and get well paid for doing so.
