Just what ive read and what the drums tell me Tim.

Take it with as much salt needed.

But yeah Moyes or Ancelotti can kinda see why its so hard to believe.

Theres people putting the boot into Ancelotti mate, Duncan wouldnt have stood a chance, you watch the first game we lose with Carlo, out of their rocks with the "I told you so".

Your last sentence sums it up perfectly mate.
I think it might be internet / social media type frenzy , because Evertonians never used to be like this. Yes , like all football fans , we whinge etc ., but nowadays it all seems a little more feral to me.

When we appointed Moyes back in 2002 he was the right manager at the right time. He's gone backwards at a rapid rate since he left this club. His stock is rock bottom right now, him being brought back would've been a major embarrassment for us. Even Stoke turned their nose it him not so long ago.

Being strongly linked with Moyes then getting Ancelotti is like thinking you were going to cop off with Janice Battersby but ending up with Kelly Brook.

surely not this time , we are used to hiring failures as managers who have relegated clubs or been sacked in the past .. . so I think a lot of fans start to worry that this manager could be doing the same to our club … the longer the bad results go on and the inability for said manager turn it around magnifies the worry ten fold

this time we have a leader who knows exactly what he is doing. the worry should be far far less from fans.

yes we are going to have bad spells, bad runs and a some dodgy defeats … that's a given with..

a) the state of the squad and its fitness

b) the players in general are probably not what he wants , he will want to change things up

after a window or two I am expecting us to be consistant at least, and steady like we were mostly under Moyes. then after a further couple windows we should be mixing it up the top.

its still a project , its still going to take another 18 months from here , but this time we have the right bloke leading the charge

For what it’s with I emailed the club at its customer service email with the subject DO NOT HIRE DAVID MOYES and then a message as to why this should not be done

I received a kind message back noting that my inquiry was being routed to the appropriate department within the Club and thanking me for supporting the Club &c.

So I stopped it dead you lot should thank me

Remember when he left after being given a thoroughly undeserved heroes send-off, then came back for Baines and Fellaini with pitiful offers and said the club should accept because we'd be holding them back if we didn't and it was unfair to do so?

Yeah, that.
As soon as the United move became known, he should have been on gardening leave with any contact with United voiding the rest of his contract.

Rocky start, great few years followed by stagnation and overstayed by 3 seasons at least. Then burnt his bridges when he saw his "chance". Would have been interesting to see how he would have performed with money on his upwards projectory in the early part of his time here but I guess we'll never know.

I'm not overly bothered by him now. He's yesterday's man and not suitable for any top half premier league team and would be a gamble for a team in the lower half. His time here is long gone and will probably be forgotten with time. I hope he was never considered even for a moment.
