If you would honestly be so kind to please tell me why.
We're the only side that has taken points of city. We've a talented bunch but had a poisonous atmosphere. We'll finish bottom half, that's pretty much assured but there are more than 3 worse teams than us.

The hyperbole on this site lately is more worrisome than our league form.

Allerdyce could get that 23% to 35%, easy. Just need to grease the wheels.

Can just imagine him in a tight admiral polo shirt with gold chains ruling the roost at FF.

In all honesty what would be the point in a short term appointment like him. We aren't going to be relegated. The next managerial appointment has to be the right one, it's absolutely pivotal to the medium term future of this club.

I've no idea who it should be but it most definitely should not be a myopic appointment such as Allerdyce.

And it won't be.
Wow! I wish I had your certainty about relegation.
As for Sam Allardyce, I would argue that he has left every club he has managed in a better state than it was than when he arrived.

Hyperbole I can accept, our league form though. It may well be the case that there are worse teams than us, but I'd find it hard to accept that any team in this league is playing with less confidence than us right now. I pray to God it's not going to be our undoing.

At this point, I'm not sure. Lack of a target man would be an issue, Carlton Cole is a free agent and would be an ideal Allardyce signing.

Who else is going to want to manager us at the moment? We're a massive team, but there's something incredibly wrong with us right now. I don't think he's right for us, but dreaming of Tuchel whilst sitting in the relegtation zone is hilarious.

Lets realise that we had a top European striker and a bloody good creative midfielder keeping us at a good level.

Let's also agree that Koeman and Walsh have spunked £200million up the wall.

Once we've done that and recognise we're no better than your Stoke's, Palace's etc.

We need to get our heads out of the sand thinking we're bigger than we are at the moment.

If Big Sam wants it, let him have it.
