My god, it's been a weird couple of weeks. First everyone gets mad excited about Mourinho, who it always seemed pretty obvious was never going to end up at Goodison Park, now there's all this faff about Moyes, who for completely different reasons doesn't have a cat in hell's chance to my mind of returning to GP IMO. It would be the wrong appointment at the wrong time, the disappointment and anger among fans would be huge, and I think those in charge are smart enough to recognise that. I certainly hope so, not least because whatever his shortcomings Moyes was a very honourable and effective manager for us for a number of years and he doesn't deserve the kind of disrespect he's getting in certain quarters.
