Timo Werner would be my number 1 choice although I think we'd be far from his first choice. I like Augustin from Leipzig too. I think Rashford would be brilliant for us, especially in this current side, but I think he'd rather stay and be patient at United than join us so early in his career.
I think the only chance we have of getting Werner would be a Lookman plus cash deal and I don’t think Silva wants to sell Lookman

Happy to wait until the seasons over to bring in a striker, particularly if it is marquee-like and we can build our pre season around it. That and the price of strikers in January would be even more inflated than the usual summer market would have them at.

Been impressed with Haller, he's really blossoming this season player for a far more offensive minded coach than last season under Niko Kovac. Although he had a more than decent season last year too, he's just taken it to another level this season so far. He's a big, lanky forward, good pace, decent in the air, links up play well, although not massively strong holding the ball, so not really a target man.
Frankfurt's attacking lineup of Jovic, Haller, Kostic and Rebic - as a collective have been very impressive in the last few games.

Don't know really, they won't let him go to one of their rivals and he's unlikely to go abroad, so we have no worse chance than anyone else.

Richarlison is a lot better than half the names being handed around in this thread. In fact if Richarlison didn’t play for us he’d probably be included in here with people saying we must be dreamingmif we thought we could get him. Unless a genuine world class player or prodigy is available in January there’s no point buying a striker who is a similar quality to Tosun.

He’s played 2 games upfront for us and scored in one of them. What evidence is there that he’s better out wide? Silva wants Bernard in the team that much is clear and Tosun and DCL don’t seem as effective from the start.
