Here's a thought that probably won't be very popular but if DCL is to be rested how about Iwobii leading attack as a sole striker if only because if his pace and the effort he has been showing recently. Not saying anything other than he would at least keep their defense occupied and he can dribble and does pack a decent shot

Cuts in too early far to many times for me, however, his performances have been much better, even being stuck on the wing, not his favored position.

And to stop their hamstrings exploding and them missing 2-3 months over the sake of 1 game that realistically we probably won't win anyway as they'll be knackered having played 46 hours previously.

Dont know if you've ever played/competed in sport/physical competition but there is no way they'll physically be able to just "go again" in that short space of time its just not worth the risk.

Spot on. Need to be really careful about picking up injuries from overwork. I’d definitely rest DCL and probably Doucouré.
