If that's true and comes out in the papers then points to us and spurs and the PL Board need to be hammered
The PL will prob dock us points for having the stones to ask the apt questions we have asked.

If this is fact any players breaching the rules should be banned and fined. Mandatory 3-0 win to us and spurs.

Their clubs should also be fined, not that money matters to oil well FC.

Try flapping your dirty manc gums in Liverpool and see what sort of reaction you get.
Hahaha the keyboard warriors have arrived. Spend loads of years delivering around Liverpool. Happily wore my city shirt whilst doing it. This was before we were owned by "camel jockeys" so I was safe from all the angry racists.

Bore off mate, there are no angry racists here - I'm sorry my jokular comment caused such offence to your snowflake like sensibilities.

Like I've said before, most shitteh fans I encounter come across as plassy kopites these days, and you have played that part to a tee.

@PaulPowersTash is one of the few who talks sense, and actually engages in reasoned football debate.

You come on here slandering Everton and it's fans for doing nothing wrong, aside from not wishing all your (alleged) plague infested players well?!

So sorry that my club had the stones to ask shitteh and the pl what the feck was going on (still no offical response it would seem from either - if it was all above board, wouldn't we have had the response by now? Seems it may be in the hands of your lawyers, especially if the walker party story is true.) Don't suppose you have any comment to make on any of that do you?

So sorry my oil well chum, we should get back in our lane and know our place.

Some City fans are extremely touchy over a request that basically asking for the information we should have had anyway if things were done above board. Almost as if it’s projection to detract from what was a slightly suspicious situation (last minute, no consultation, seemly had the required 14 players as stated, miraculously recovery a day later) Glad it was called off though, for our squad and their safety. We are well within our rights to request the information if we were left out of the loop until the very last minute and had no understanding of how the decision fit in with previously stated requirements. Seriously some people need to get a grip. That being said, Yaya threw a tantrum when he didn’t get a birthday cake so this is very much in the DNA to cry over anything that doesn’t automatically fall in line. Happy New year to all of our very pressed light blue friends?? We’ll remember to say get well soon next time??
Was chuffed to bits when Yaya threw a tantrum over me back then. Memories....

I jest, of course, but actually do appreciate some of what you say even as a cry baby, obtuse minded City supporter foolish enough to come back here (with good intentions).

I also think it was the correct, and safety first minded decision (including for your players, staff and others in the community) to postpone the game given the risk of further spread that could have happened.

However, I also want to say again I completely see why your fans and club were upset over the way it was all communicated/decided by the PL and get why guidelines needed to be clearer to everyone to prevent what's happening now between our supporters, etc. which is depressing and taking away from the enjoyment of football.

The PL needed to do a better job of planning for and handling this type of situation as how it could not have been foreseen given the fixture congestion + COVID's state in the UK is beyond me and why I can see the reason for further frustration.

Now, do I again think the public statement by Everton was the BEST way to go about handling this? I think that question is not just asked by City supporters, as a United fan who writes in the Athletic about City posted this after the statement was published:

Can one see how it implies an aura of automatic suspicion of City as misleading the PL in some way or being complicit with the PL? Here's tbf a City fan/journalists recent post:

Thoughts on this?

Would genuinely appreciate responses that don't involve attempts at mockery, telling me to bugger off, questioning why I'm here, where I'm from, am I a real fan, etc. if that's at all possible. Hope it is.

Cheers and HNY.

Why are you here? Where are you from mert? Are you a real fan?

The answer is simple. Had the PL and/or City informed Everton at the very start instead of three hours before kickoff, it would not have been an issue. That's what most of us on here are saying. But when you add in the fact City's training ground opened just two days later despite five apparently positive tests, it does raise a few eyebrows.

Good question
Earth (I think)
No
Well seems as tho you took it in good faith, I will answer.

I thought our statement showed a lack of class.

We always seem to do things correctly and with dignity, but that statement showed anything but.

By all means kick off behind the scenes, but that public statement has made us look like uncaring bellends and its not a great look for the club, IMO.
