Yeah but it's how COVID works, takes a few days to show up in a test reliably after infection and can grow exponentially. With the run of games every few days it's not hard to imagine a squad getting battered with it.

Yeah I appreciate that and Im sure there will be changes but the point is that we shouldnt be trying to roll over now. The team you mentioned simply could not beat City if they played 50 times. If the players have one more game in them this is the one to push for and then rest the whole squad and try to sneak a win a west ham.

I dont get this though its just 3 points same as 3 points against WHU.

Statistically the players will have more chance of beating WHU and will also be a lot more fresh and rested than they would tonight - the reality is we aint winning the next 2 games so its deciding which one is worth playing for a draw and which one is worth going all out for and winning and chances are WHU will be easier to beat that City.

Whatever team we put out tonight wont be any worse than WBA who just got draws away at City & RS so I wouldn't be thinking that we'll get hammered regardless of who is rested.
