TBH I'm not that disappointed. We've played a lot of games this month and I really think our players could do with a bit of a break.

As much as my entire day was geared towards this game, this is much better for us. I genuinely felt we had zero chance tonight, but with a few more players fit and a schedule that isn't designed by an Everton hating psychopath, we could defo get something from these

They've a MASSIVE squad. Shouldn't be allowed to cancel for 3 or 4 being out..

Unless they are isolating the whole lot of them..?

The game shouldn't be called off. We are missing a tonne of players too. If they don't want to play we should get the points. Its fairly simple in my eyes.

It's also a safety issue for our squad though. They might put players out who have it and it just hasn't been detected yet. My guess is that we don't really want them to play us either.

It's a good thing based on our injuries and need to rest players alone, I don't think it would be a good idea to let their players play against us either, there's clearly issues in the City camp and it would be a bad idea to potentially bring those covid problems to the Everton squad too.

Because that was a cup game so has to be played to fit in with the rest of the rounds.
A league game has time to be rearranged before May.

Not enough players put for a postponement. The game is forfeited. Otherwise why is spurs in the semi final.of the league cup

League and Cup are different competitions and will have different rules regarding it.

If rearranged, its a good decision. Shouldn't be punishing for covid or taking risks of players when its in the squad, even if they still have enough players as they could be negative today and positive tomorrow.
