City wanted the postponement, not Everton.

The reality is Spurs got a forfeit because it was Orient. They aren't going to make a PL club forfeit and they definitely aren't going to make one of the "Sky 6" who might be in the title race forfeit.
Nor should they really. Everything should be done to play all the games.
I was just gonna say the same thing. hopefully we play enough games so its not for nothing. The way Covid is spreading right now you have to say that there is a a significant chance the season is not going to be fully concluded.
Arent all prem squads 25 players? They've a MASSIVE squad. Shouldn't be allowed to cancel for 3 or 4 being out..
Unless they are isolating the whole lot of them..?
With the RS top of the league ?.....The way Covid is spreading right now you have to say that there is a a significant chance the season is not going to be fully concluded.

I get there can't be zero risk but this is quite clearly elevated risk as opposed to a game where very few or no players in a squad have tested positive in the lead up to the game.Perhaps but there will never be a match with zero risk until we get vaccines.
I just dont see much consistency in the decision making. Lots of teams have had a number of covid cases but matches have been played.
Is 4 the threshold? I really don't know. But surely there needs to be clear guidance.
Because that was a cup game so has to be played to fit in with the rest of the rounds.
A league game has time to be rearranged before May.
When you put it that way yes keeping the winning streak alive sounds good.. and palace just after scoring ... so that's goodWest Ham played yesterday AND tomorrow while we get 6 days of rest, I'll take this all day.
5 wins on the bounce here we go.
