Beyond a load of serf cockneys, is there bollocks.

This is what they want the world to think.

That's the reason the games are off. The silences would have been broken up and down the land in pockets of each ground apart from a few servile club supporters like West Ham and Chelsea. They cannot have that.

TBF it's what the world does think. My 'in laws' (i'm not married but might as well be) are foreign - shocked that I wasn't all that bothered, but in fact was a tiny bit annoyed to find out that we don't get a day off.

This isn't a comment on the queen but I wish the football was on.

I'd rather it on the weekend than on a weeknight (in Australia weeknight games are in the middle of the night 2am-6am) which means I can't watch them.

Rugby getting it right.

But then of course they'll all be privately educated Tories unlike us drooling gorms, so they're bound to come to the logical decision.

People are missing the point, games postponed this weekend leaves an extra week for injured players to return.
In the short term it’s good for Everton, but then there’s so little room in this season’s schedule that cramming the games in will likely cause other problems. A stop start season could also make it hard to get any momentum going- we’re looking at a possible month off then another long lay off soon after.

These are issues all clubs face though I guess- on balance I guess if the next two games get put back to the new year then there’s more of an opportunity to get the squad knitted together and maybe get extra bodies in the next window.
