Why is it that when a city mourned the loss of Brothers, Sisters, Mothers and Fathers through tragedy, they were branded as "Self pity city", yet when an entire country comes to a halt cause somebody died at age 96, through nothing more than old age, the people who find it all a bit odd are the ones who are vilified for it.

I've had enough of the whole mandated mourning thing. I feel the same way as I would if somebody I don't know, in a pub, told me their Mum had died. I'd be sorry for their loss and offer condolences, but then I'd enjoy my pint.

I have zero affection for the queen, or any of the royal family. In fact, if I was pushed on it, my favourites would be Harry and Megan, and even that just makes the rest of them look worse.
