You want to set it up @USABlue ? Personally I think NFL.com is best for beginners. What say you?

sure I can, 8-12 is the best amount of people in my opinion, if it's going to be relatively new players 8 might be best but we can always expand to 10 or so if need be. I'm fine with nfl.com as long as no one has objections.

Id go default settings and rosters. Might get confusing for non experienced players if you start messing with that, and probably best to not have a Flex position, or a WR/TE or RB/WR, and definitely no defensive players.

just made a league with all default settings, it asked me for a draft date so I just put the day before the opener as a placemaker while we work out draft/ no draft and/or draft details. Anyone who is interested PM me your email and GOT username so I know who is who and can send out invites. or post it in the thread and get signed up for a bunch of homosexual dating websites, craigslist, GOTs finest, etc
 

Count me in. I prefer ESPN and not sure I can make the live draft. I haven't done redraft in years, though (currently in a dynasty league) so I'm going to be average at best.

No more of @Kiwi's suicide leagues; I was terrible at that.

well the whole draft thing is up in the air atm anyways so don't worry about it. I usually do redrafts as thats what my friends started up years ago such just went along with it, dynasty seems like it'd be fun though. The league I threw up real quick is on NFL.com but once we get a full group we could vote and switch to ESPN if people prefer (currently doing two others on there so its fine for me lol)

You pick a game each week, but can only use each team once. If your picked team wins you carry on. It's fun trying to work out when to use the good teams, and when to risk the worse teams.

Sounds like fun. You could do it with the Premier League, can pick each team once e.t.c e.t.c

I would be willing to set up a league for anyone on GOT who is interested, but I would not suggest anyone play unless:

1) They have a reasonable knowledge of the game - NO
2) They know how the game is played (its rules) - and I don't just mean basic - NO
3) Obviously its important to know the scoring system- NO
4) They know who the best 5 players are at each position (at least) - NO
5) They know who all the teams are, who has the best Quarterbacks, and who has the best defences - NO
6) Know what a QB, RB, RB, TE, K, and DEF are - NO

Seriously, anyone can play and I'd be willing to set it up, but its quite a complicated set of rules and scoring etc. The live draft is one of the best things about NFL Fantasy Football, but if people who have never played before, I would suggest an auto draft on this occasion.

I'd have a go. What I don't understand though, is how they can still have a scrap with skates on?
