Pre Season Matches.

Can anyone who has been to these stadiums before confirm that you have the ability to enter the lower tier concourses if you have an upper tier ticket? This is usually the case in American Stadiums. We got the cheapest tickets in the rafters but I will be looking to slope into the lower tier.
You can absolutely be in the lower concourse, just depends how strict security is when trying to enter the lower seating area.

Not going to lie, the stadium experience at English football games was a bit of culture shock for me when I realized I wasn't allowed to go to other parts of the stadium. Felt like I was in prison lol

I've been to Soldier Field in Chicago a good few times. Mostly for Bears games but on one occasion I watched Chicago Fire Vs Derby County in a pre season game. If I wanted I dare say I could have sat on either team bench such was the sparse crowd, absolutely no one bothered me. Probably won't manage to do that If the famous EFC visit.

You need to make a trip to Millwall as an away supporter if you ever get a chance. The only ground in Engand where you`re kept locked up in a pen after the game for half an hour, so that the locals can disperse back to where ever they crawled out of.

I went to a Milwall match on my pilgrimage to Goodison. I inadvertently starting walking up towards the away entrance and got a very stern rebuke from the police there. Everyone else warned me not to get stabbed at the Den. Still an awesome visit, I'll never forget London is Calling cranked before the game on a crisp April evening.
