You put way too much on Moyes.

7th place trophy and boring football or winning derbies. I know what most blues would choose.

But thats not an arguement.

Heres a question.

Would you rather :

1) Win both Derbys,finish 8th, whilst they finished 7th

or

2) Lose both Derbys, finish 7th, whilst they finished 8th

or

3) Sing songs about Owen Coyle.

How about we win derbies and finish above them ? Nah, because Moyes is a bottler.

Bitter blues, tut, tut.

The Premier League is played over the course of a Season, its not 2 Head to Head games against Lidbool Football Club.

You people disgust me, im off to a Spurs Forum.

Screw the premier league, finishing 7th or 8th or 13th is exactly the same. As long as you're above 17th and below 5th it doesn't matter.

What matters if you're a mid-table team is a) the quality of the football, b ) the derbies and c) the cups.

The fact that we finished above the RS in the league doesn't change the fact that in their worst year for donkeys they still reached two cup finals and won one trophy and Moyes hasn't done either of those things in ten years.

The only game that mattered this year was the semifinal and Moyes bottled it. All the pointless 4-0 end of season scalpings that surrounded it don't matter. There was one game we had to win and we choked.

I dont recall seeing Moyes on that pitch at Wembley.

So to say he bottled it is very wrong.

He fielded the best team he could, if your saying the players bottled it, like they did in 09, well then I agree.

If you're arguing Moyes has no responsibility for the performance of the team he a) bought, b ) picked, c) coached and d) motivated, then surely he's not responsible for us finisihing fourth either.

He clearly trains them to sir back when we take a lead, and he clearly has them scared of the RS because he's the only common factor.
