I posted about Benitez to Spurs earlier tonight.

His odds have tumbled from 14-1 to 8-1, he's now third favourites behind Moyes and Martinez.

Several BBC sports journalists (who are far more accurate than clowns like Kammy and the Moose) have noted Benitez pulling out of a scheduled R5Live appearance tomorrow and alluding to 'something coming up for him'.

In the same way the Martinez to Liverpool stuff hid Rodgers going there, all these people touting Moyes are missing Benitez.

Let's face it, Spurs have CL aspirations and European footy hopes. Benitez has a lot of experience in that area, far more than Moyes. Plus no expensive compo needed for Benitez either.

Thing is, if you are in Moyes' position, would you go?

Because Everton seem to be improving - if we get Pienaar then we will most likely have a better season than the last. Also, Moyes is all about stability, would he go to Tottenham (for the same amount of money) when he risks getting fired after a year if he doesn't get top 4? (which is doubtful anyway as Chelsea seem to be getting their act together)

Moyes is always going to be the favourite for any managers job in the top half, hopefully Harry will come the other way

I genuinely would be distraught if Redknapp came to Everton. The antithesis of what we require right now.

listening sky sports....

just heard that moyes was the "first" candidate to that job and still is the "best" candidate.

Talksport have said compensation is being discussed. Spurs have more money to spend and will occupy the Olympic stadium. That will project them to a 1st tier club. Everton are second tier club with nothing on the horizon to propel the club forwards.

I could see why Moyes would move.

Bookies have stopped taking bets on Moyes moving.

The smart talk last week was:
Harry (to go) & either him or Rafael to Chelsea
Moyes to Spurs

With Chelsea situation now cleared up this gives Rafael the leading edge to the Spurs job - 1) he's available (so nil compo) 2) he's won things (which Moyes hasn't). So I'm inclined to agree,

They definitely got that stadium have they?

Full Eurostar terminal in there too?
