I reckon we are in for an interesting few days. The big question is whether or not the Spurs board think that David Moyes is as good as the media keep telling the world he is. Clearly Spurs have now jumped on the United/City/Chelsea bandwagon of demanding trophies. Appointing a Manager with zero trophy success over 10 years doesn't bring the greatest CV does it?

Bearing in mind that Spurs last attempt to bring a Manager in from abroad was a disaster, they may decide to go for a current premiership manager which would probably include Moyes. Appointing a new manager is always a gamble anyway as success is never guaranteed - but like at Everton, will Spurs put stability above success?

As I say, the next few days will be very interesting. What price both our local clubs kicking off next season with new managers in charge?

Still can't see this happening, fair enough they have cash, but if Modric & Bale were to leave are they much better than what he has at the moment?

How do you cook your poached eggs.

I go with boiling water in a pan, dash of vinegar keeps it together, get the water swirling, drop the egg in and voila.

Anybody who does it any other way is WRONG.

Me too but maybe it's the fact I never put vinegar in that it the eggs never held together! Gonna try a couple now. Have we had the brown sauce or ketchup debate? Always brown for me except on fish and chips, which has always got to be ketchup.

I just don't think Moyes will fancy it. Modric will leave. Bale might, too. Take a look at the Spurs side without those two - and with no Adebayor. It's not very strong at all. He'd have money, sure, but he'd have to rebuild an entire squad under the gaze of a chairman and set of supporters who expect CL qualification.

Would he really go? After all we might not have any money but he's in a pretty safe job, but God forbid if he does go then I just hope it's not the usual names that are tossed into the hat and that we try and sign a world class manager who the board will have to back with some of their cash for a change otherwise it could be years of a revolving door system that has failed so bad at other clubs

Redknapp's CV pre Spurs wasn't great either, though.

Hahaha ****ing hell I love scouser's on a rant. Ace LCAB.

It was just that, well structured and with the perfect level of rant.

I find it genuinely disappointing that too many on here buy into the "press are right, bookies are right" nonsense and run around in a mad panic.
