I think Modric will go, they barely hung on to him last summer. Bale might stay, but that still leaves Adebayor and VDV, and at least one of them won't be at WHL next season.

Adebayor being a Man City player and all that, I'd imagine he won't be at Tottenham next season.
 

Regardless of whether it's to spurs or not, Moyes going wouldn't have bothered me SO much until the last week or two - I think Lambert and to a lesser degree Rodgers would have made good managers at Goodison, and realistically they would be prepared to work within our constraints. Now you look at who's available and you have to worry. I know some people like Martinez, but his refusal to adapt his game when it was required has cost Wigan big time in games. I just don't think he's right for us. AVB - has he got what's needed? McLeish would probably fit the bill for Bill but PLEASE NOOOOOO!, McCarthy (see McLeish). If nothing else comes out of this, let's hope the BOARD realise that they need to back our manager properly if they have any desire to keep him at the club.
 
I can't see Moyes staying, european football, money to spend, exactly everythin kenwright can't offer him.

Why are we assuming we have to pick from the ten or so current premier league managers who are available?

As opposed to bringing in someone like Solskjaer or Poyet who has been doing well in lesser leagues and would like to make the step up. It's what we did with Moyes.

Oh I forgot that it was Kenwright who stopped us being able to enter europe. Silly me, I thought it was because Moyes wasn't good enough to win the semifinal games that would hand it to us.
 
quick question......has anyone from spurs actually said they want moyes? or is it just the bookies? ...... I am guessing the bookies must be basing their odds on some sort of information. or is it just a load of bollox?
