I blame the board (big surprise I know). Most teams would have a little transfer speculation to keep us occupied -- and by transfer speculation I don't just mean being terrified of losing all your best players. Actual new players coming in. I never thought I'd say it but I long for the "silly season" rumours.

Think I might add that foxy sig about taking out the owner's box.

Pretty much. Every year another team grabs a manager from a tiny club, gives him a big chance and he turns out to be boss. This year, among others, Getafe did it. Ten years ago we did it.
