What is going on with the supposed best world in the league? (The EPL to those outside of our fair isle)

Apart from Man U most of the rest are performing below average.

Then if anyone has the fortune to have witnessed a Barca match then you would see what football is all about. Messi is awesome, Xavi is, Iniesta is, E'to and Henry, Bojan. World class. And some of the other spanish games are really good and exciting to watch.

Has the premier league finally fell onto it's own sword?

The premierleague is becoming crap. Why? Well 2 reasons...Money - there is too much, and the people with the most money win. Bored already. Second reason, the FA. I think they are a joke, every single one of them. The referees give some shocking decisions, and the FA mostly dont do anything about it. I hate the FA.

Any Rs struggling to get home on thursday after the match can pay just £100 inc taxes if flying with flysas.com, be quick though it is sure to sell out

Yeah that is true. ******* winds me up that Sky have Dermot Gallacher on the last word, for me it all it does is give them more of a platform to show everyone how big their cock is. Every single referee makes bad decisions, and 99% of the time it goes unpunished.

Chelsea at the start of the season are still the only team to have played really well up to now. Even Man United haven't, they look like they might have started to recently tho. Saying that it's only really the Spurs/Portsmouth merry-go-round, City making a joke and Arsenal falling apart that makes it look like the league is [Poor language removed]. Spose that is quite a lot really.

It is a bit [Poor language removed] to be honest. For all the money that has flooded into the league, and the huge transfer fees and wages, can we honestly say that the reward has been the highest quality football in the world? Like fook we can, half the EPL (for you Nick) couldn't even hack it in the top European leagues, like Spain and Italy.

The EPL is the best in the world, just like the emperor's clothes are the finest in the procession.

Best League in the world. Barca are not a bench mark to judge games, Barca are 1 of the most exciting teams to watch. It must be amazing when they destroy other teams in the league, but thats because the rest are not even Championship quality, apart from 3-4, such as Valencia, Real ,Villareal.

Thats why English teams piss the CL final every year. They play in a harder league.

So your basically saying that the quality in the Spanish league is worse than in the English, and that is why Messi is scoring goals for fun, and that they can turn out a reserve team and still spank the performances we have seen from the top teams in England.

I watch quite a bit of La Ligue and it's so much more exciting than England's league.

Is there any other top league where any team below sixth (fingers crossed) could still be relegated after nearly 2 thirds of the season has been played ?
This may imply standards are dropping but makes for an exciting run in.
I watched the barcodes play sunderland this afternoon - it was hilarious watching them panicing like headless chickens to avoid the prize of having the biggest stadium in the championship next season!!!!:D:D

The quality is reasonable but I can't remember a game between the 'top four' that has set the pulse racing in the way that some of the Gran Classico have. The Ronaldinho game at the Bernabeau for instance or the Messi hat-trick in the 3-3 draw.

Well I was saying that standards are dropping.
