Where’s the ’preview’ button gone @GrandOldTeam and is it with the Arteta money?

This place is going right down the pan.

Years ago, forum message editors would have code etc.

So if you quoted someone, it would be like;

So the preview button was useful.

I think now, as forum software develops, the developers feel less need for it because you can see your post realtime in the actual editor like so;

So there's nothing now, that you can preview that isn't actually within the message box already - realtime.

There's no code or tags etc you need to preview.

I do think it was useful to have a preview as separate box so you can preview and then edit on another bit but it's the minority that think that.

No difference . Just one turns slightly blue. Posting photos is horrible as well. On an iPad.

I can see the message - there's nothing here to preview.

You don't preview an email before sending it do you? You can see what you've typed.

I have to long press that magnifying glass icon at top right, then the panel changes to a very pale blue. Presumably that is then ‘Preview’ mode? A quick tap/press does nothing.

Yeah.

The preview function is pointless now really given the preview is in effect realtime in the editor.

What is there to preview that isn't in the message box?

ok can sort a picture now and yes I’d always preview an email before sending , mostly became my spelling is horrendous maybe it’s just me . Thanks @GrandOldTeam for taking time to sort things I feel like a mix of @roydo and @Joey66 here.
