Andy Richter once did a series where he was a certified public accountant AND a PI at the same time.

The highlight of the whole series being a scene where he was in a high speed car chase escaping from Russian mobsters who were shooting at him, but at the same time had a client in the car and was giving him tax advice.

As serious as it comes mate.

I know a bloke whose wife left him because he was a bit of a hothead and could be "abusive" with her at times. He went on to do a couple of short stints in jail for kicking in the door of the house she was staying at, and then for violating a restriction order. The last time I spoke to him he told me that she had moved to Scotland and he had found her by using a Private Investigator. Pretty scary really that a PI can locate a person for someone without knowing (or maybe caring) about their motives.
