Problem accessing certain threads

Hi Guys
I have a longstanding issue, there are certain threads I can see/access only via the forum main page only (so when they contain the most recent new post in that section) and can't access them from within the sections themselves.

The matchday thread is always one, the Coronavirus one another (maybe not a bad thing (!)), some threads containing polls and one or two random others.

It doesn't matter what device I'm using, the effect is the same.

Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix? It's just a minor irritant.

Well you are not banned from any threads, nor subject to any other witchcraft we can use, so no idea. No issues our end, as far as I know.

I don't really use any others mate, not a member anywhere else, my compliments to the chef(s).

I've actually had this for years and never mentioned it. Exactly as in your screenshots, Dan.

Personally I quite enjoy the jeopardy of it. Sometimes I think, yeah, I'll take a look at that thread, then I navigate to the forum and it's not there, and then when I go back to the main page someone else has posted in a different thread so it's not there either. Very exciting.

Not a wind-up I thought about raising it before, just never got around to it. With these strange threads, if I want to view and/or contribute, I have to wait to catch them in the main page.

Actually, you need to rule out this as a possibility, especially as @bullybeef started the Coronavirus thread, so see who you've got on ignore first at

@MarcelsGoat has a very extensive ignore list. I think he only sees about 4 new threads a week and he starts at least 2 of them
