Usually the HOA board has a closet racist, 50+ y/o, who goes around the neighborhood on one of these
with their husband and/or wife or kids, just looking for someone to harass in some way. HOA's were invented (IMO) by the closet racists of middle class America to gentrify the black and Hispanic populace who were moving in to middle class neighborhoods as they gained in financial status, although they like to disguise it as ""maintaining property values". You almost can't find a home in this state at least or (it seems) any state that's experienced rapid growth over the last 15-20 years that's not in an HOA, it's disgusting. HOA's also foster the building epidemic of neighbors not talking to one another like in the past.
Again, this is all my opinion; good for you if you pay (oh yes, there are fee's) to live in one but I think you're perpetuating a problem, Karen....
