Missus was given one of them by her dad. She likes it. I don't see the point personally as a pan on the stove does the same job without demanding earth's resources are used on a gimmick.

Just because, in separate incidents, she and then I were found scraping exploded egg off the ceiling after forgetting about the pan ffs.

Thought the same initially. Only bought as they went half price and can now see how they save on energy mate. You use a tiny amount of water.

My mum informed me she'd bought one of these yesterday, looks like an electric shock dog collar. Would be nice if she'd bought the dog collar by mistake and put that on expecting a refreshing breeze, only to get a jolt of electricity to the neck.

So far I've only needed to use a few inches of it ... but you never know what future use it may have, being able to search for and find something so inaccessible there would be no hope of retrieving
