We've pretty much stopped buying any fizzy drinks and buy the more expensive cordials, the ones they tend to be in the glass bottles and then buy bottles of fizzy water

They have no preservatives, added sugar, sweeteners, colouring etc so works pretty good

Razor blades.

Cheap ones are a total false economy, as they rip your face off.

Yep... It pains me to say it, but Gillette razor blades are the best I have used and the only ones I buy. I've tried alternatives, but in my experience, a Gillette razor blade that has been used 20-30 times is still better than a brand new Wilkinson's equivalent. As a baldy, a good razor is non-negotiable.

Fizzy water and fresh lemons and limes squeezed in from my neighbours trees.

Freezing bread is ok if it's being used for toast. Wouldn't use it for a fresh sandwich, though.
