I went to that game but never got the programme, the match was called off because of fog. The match was played in April that year when we won 4-0 to gain promotion.Oldham Athletic a 2-1-54

It was 4-0 29th of April 1954 - last game of the season - from he original programme I found for you below - Oldham were relegated, away win for us scorers for us- JW Parker 2 -Dave Hickson - TE Jones last game of that season - found the postponed programme of that season for you cover - it was postponed on the 2nd of January & no I have not got that programme just hard researchSame programme?.
I wonder...
Yes it could be. I wonder why I never bought that match programme but I remember buying the 1954 FA cup final programme WBA v Preston outside Oldhams ground, the first time the cup final programme had been sold outside London. I got Johnie Carey, Blackburn’s manager at the time, to sign his autograph on that programme, he was there because if Everton lost or drew Blackburn would have been promoted.Same programme?.
I wonder...
This would be the best piece of advice, or contact the Everton Heritage Society if you can't get to a game.Have you tried upstairs in St Luke’s pre match?
I'll have a look tomorrow night.@alan ball might be able help you.
