Project restart discussion.

I thought that was a very clear, concise statement from Johnson.

In the government strategy to monitor the virus and progressively come out of lockdown, there is no room for non-essential, mass-participation sport. The plan actually highlighted how limited we’re still going to be for a long time to come and even in the best-case scenario.

Anyone pushing for football to restart are just too ignorant to the realities of the situation.

What about stopping this season now then start next season with all the clubs on the points they've got now.
At least this seasons points will have an effect.
Not saying it's a good idea, just another way of doing it!
Oh great. Yeah lets totally destroy a second season (whenever that finally gets played) in a vain and pointless attempt to finish the one that's already ruined beyond repair!

Don't say this in the political thread though mate.
Thank me later.

How do they get around the, "you can exercise and play sport as often as you like but only with members of your own home" rule?
If your the prem league, probably as easy as can be, as they dont listen to nothing by the looks of the way they have carried on so far, so as put this morning another 3 weeks at earliest which would be early june before they may even attempt to go back, then training is needed, then the games would be mid june/till late June at very earliest if they can even seem to get any date done which they cant seem to,and if the end date is early august for when these prem games need to be done they would be trying to squash the games in even more than they are or were

They should be honest and call it "project enough games for RS to be mathematically champions".

I fully believe that they know there is zero chance of all the fixtures being played. They are hoping that there's enough to get them over the line. I doubt they will relegate teams but use PPG to determine prize money and Europe etc.

This will be a record death tally to get a trophy.

The echo Everton news account have just tweeted about project restart and put apictute of the Livetpool players celebrating in it. Joke!
