Project restart discussion.

I reckon they don't even plan on playing all 9 games, they just want a few positions sorted mathematically then they can end it, it's a disgrace, especially with Boris's new guidelines I expect the virus to start rising again in a couple of weeks, his guidelines coupled with the return of football is basically just saying to people the corona virus is over, irresponsible
Of course - that's what I've been saying all along. They will see Liverpool over the line and probably stop at a point where all teams are on the same number of games played, then kill it and award average points per game.

Government sources have briefed the Telegraph that the Premier League could return in June. The paper says a government paper on elite sports is expected to be published on Tuesday.

These will give the green light for professional sports to return next month, including the Premier League’s planned resumption on June 12, subject to safety conditions being met and coronavirus infection rates not rising. However Boris Johnson’s go-ahead comes as up to eight Premier League clubs are expected to argue against the use of neutral venues and call for ‘Project Restart’ to be put back at a crucial meeting today.

Can’t see my sister (Tattoo studio owner), my daughters boss ( hairdresser owner) and thousands of other small businesses being happy seeing these nob jockeys prancing around a pitch in an empty stadium in the middle of June to keep their gravy train rolling whilst they have to wait until July the 1st at the earliest before they can open up their businesses.

35 years ago today is the date of the Bradford Fire. A tragedy that is always overshadowed by other tragedies and is always forgotten by the nation.
Maybe the PL & the FA should at least dwell on this today instead of putting all of their efforts into Project Restart...
Is it already that long ago?!? I remember this happening from when I was a kid. A terrible tragedy. Like a lot of footballing disasters, it is in retrospect inevitable that something like this would have happened. A terrible price to pay for progress in stadium design, and a stark reminder why safety needs to be paramount in all aspects of stadium and venue design and the management of sporting and entertainment events.

It's well worth a moment in all our time to reflect on this event, especially in this crisis. We owe it to them and ourselves to never forget the past and the lessons we can learn from it.

Bradford are not a big enough brand for the authorities to be bothered.

Quite surprised to see Mark Noble come out in support of the restart, when his club is seemingly against it (or at least the neutral venues).

Opinions seems to change with the wind at the moment.
