I don’t personally see how any second wave or spike will affect the PL restart as I’d imagine players and stay are probably being asked to isolate as fully as possible with the run up to kick-off.

The fact the government don't recognize that parts of the country are above the 1.0 R Rate they are measuring the virus and this will be increased down to lockdown measures loosing with schools, extending social circles and masses of people gathering at beaches and rallies.

The impact of 2000 people in a private sector like the Premier League with the huge masses of cash they are throwing about, Tories couldn't give two tosses over it.

I am unconvinced over the 0 number of positive tests because it's an in-house setup and they not as honest as they would make out especially after they settled in the US for making "deceptive medical claims".

The only thing to stop this will be a 2nd Wave or death of a player.

They should have been isolating the whole time, but how many have we seen being caught breaking lockdown? Those are just the ones that were caught too, bet most of them haven't given much of a damn about restrictions tbh, even though they have everything they need in their homes

What happens if loads of the refs test positive will they bring in Sunday league refs(probably be better haha) or just have no ref at all just another rule change

I remember when the NFL officials went on strike and they got amateur officials in to do it.
Some absolute howlers were made.

So, I can therefore deffo see it happening.

I refuse to accept Sunday league refs wouldn't make some of the howlers refs like jon mos do.

All teams will treat this as an experimemt, no reason why the FA can't use it as a chance to shake up the ref line up and get some lower league youngsters to have a go.
