That won't be true.

And 'outbidding' who exactly? The government are procuring PPE specifically for the NHS, it's not an open auction where private companies are able to bid on it.

Procuring from where? Private companies China, Korea and Turkey probably and they arnt going to give it away out the goodness of their own hearts - of course they will sell to the highest bidder. See whats happening in America too

ITK on city forum has said the PL is outbidding the NHS for PPE and test equipment. Either forcing them lose out or pay more.

If thats true then the NHS needs to come out all guns blazing

I'm sure from what I read they have to procure from sources not associated with the NHS? They're not supposed to put any burden which includes dealing with injuries etc

I'm talking theoretically.

Theoretically 1000 people could all gather and none of them have the virus.

For obvious reasons we can't have that happen for a long time but theoretically going with the line that it will spread assumes that some of those 1000 are sick.

If numbers are dropping there is no guarantee that people will get infected a second time. For the sake of being safe we have to go with that assumption they will but theoretically talking that isn't guaranteed.

Numbers are only dropping because the vast majority of us haven't been able to go anywhere. The times we do venture out we keep our distance and stare at everyone like they are an axe murderer.

just been for a walk around stanley park and iv only seen it as busy when theres a match on!

I think that one of the main reasons that they are thinking of easing restrictions is because it will get more difficult to police.

I get out on my own on the bike once a day and there seems to be more and more cars on the road.

That the official line but they wont give a crap if it means they dont lose £££.

Again I'm talking theoretically. The assumption that people gathering would lead to that going up again when in all honesty that isnt guaranteed. Especially of those people weren't sick.

The measures in place sure are to make sure people don't get sick again and I'm absolutely for that , especially over the next several months. No crowds at football , no events etc fine by me.

I'm just saying that people gathering aren't guaranteed to suddenly get sick and die theoretically. Whereas 8 weeks ago the chance of that happening was much greater as it wasn't a thing here in the UK.

Remember the figures are retrospective. So if less people are dying right now than ever before (which would show in 2 weeks) then you are looking asymptomatically now rather than I'll.
