Did it metastasize to somewhere else? Im only asking as to die early 40s from prostate cancer is incredibly unlikely - cancer research's stats claim only 4 people in the UK in the 40-45 age group died from it between 2017-19.
Strange. Don't they do the PSA test standard in the lab?
There are certified self tests if you're really worried and you want to check.
what stage were you at, at diagnosis?Cancer of the prostate can only be diagnosed from a biopsy. It can only be suspected beforehand. The MRI does give you an infication of the likelihood. In my case it was Highly probable i had a significant tumour
These days biopsys are performed transperenially. ( through the gooch).
Its not as bad as it sounds but you will leave your dignity at the door!
The matter taken is then viewed for cell differation.
All trusts should have the informed choice programme for PSa testing.Apparently, the protocol for testing varies from trust to trust ?
