Cost wise the difference isn't worth any savings for me. The ps5 is a far superior machine. Load times on some games go from around a minute to almost instant. Updating is faster too.
I have both and the kids play together using both machine. One kid generally sits waiting a bunch while the other loads in.

I've had my PS4 pro since launch, I cannot wait for it to die so I can get a 5. (or 6 if it soldiers on long enough)

As you have neither, get the 5, obviously. (Get the one with the disk drive - only top drawer mingebags convince themselves the download only version is a solid choice.)

I have a ps4. Was very keen to get a ps5 but at the time they were being snapped up by scalpers so I gave up and instead got a gaming laptop. Great move. Can take itcaround the house and even away in my camper - plus the mod community makes games more interesting and long lived.

Still use the ps4 for my footie game because at the time pes shot itself on the foot and ruined their game (it's like sky now as far as I can see - you only get to use 4 or 5 teams).
