Thats harsh, its a team game.

He looked nervy on both pens which is weird for him. First pen was great in the end but no idea what the messing round by him was before he took it. The second looked like he didnt even breath before taking it.

Still it’s down to him regardless, he should have moved to a big team years ago got a winning mentality played in bigger club games, never really had pressure at Spurs it’s an easy life for him there no expectations. I hope he pushes and get a big move as he will be around for England for a good few years to come and playing for a big team will help him in the future.

Congrats to France. England were absolutely fantastic and went toe to toe with the best team in the world. Let down by a striker goal kicking a penalty out of the stadium with 5 minutes to go. No complaints with the manager (who I don’t rate) or any of the players other than Kane. Onwards to 2024 Crusader army.

Aaaaanyway...I didn't think we'd win. I'm disappointed, especially as it should have gone to extra time, but better to go out to a missed penalty in normal time than a penalty shootout.

So now I'll cheer on Morocco.

I don't think Kane can play that way anymore and be elite the way he used to be. He can still be very good, but he's maintained his level by effectively changing his game to suit where he is physically these days.

Second Penalty - Kane goes all Dance on the Spot BS and - in trying to avoid football's smallest top flight keeper balloons it towards Morocco.

Yea, his runup for the 2nd was nom existent. Anyone can miss a pen under pressure but you gotta give yourself the best chance by controlling what you can.
