Well they ground out plenty of tight wins last season.

Ancelotti did a lot wrong. But defensively he had us sorted in a lot of games. Issue was merging that with creativity.

We haven't got either atm and haven't had all season, bar in that Brighton game where we basically played against the perfect team (but did it very well).

They had the midfield camped in front of them.
When so many of them are asked to do the basics without any protection they get found out.
Its really time to stop kidding ourselves. We dont have a single defender im confident in.

Truth is the players who make up the team tonight are either in poor form or have shown rhat they are not capable at performing at a sustainable high level. The state of our squad highlights the years of mismanagement.

I dont know why people are suprised. The same group of players that let us down over and over again. Keep your expectations low and it wont bother you.

Insanity is doing a test over and over again and expecting different results. The players wont change. Kenny, Holgate, Davies, Gomes and Iwobi have absolutely zero bottle. They aren't arsed. If these players can't motivate themselves to play for Carlo Ancelotti what makes anyone think they'll play for Rafael suddenly?

Throw in Digne being out of form, Godfrey struggling, Rondon being unfit and annonymous this game, Gordon doing OK at best, and Townsend hte only one who actually looks interest and creative.

Stop expecting more from a group who can't give it. At some point it's not even them doing it to you, its yourself. I speak from experience.
