Shropshire blue. Yes.

Yorkshire Blue. Yes.

A nice crumbly lancs. Sometimes.

Cheese is the greatest accident.

No joking try Garstang Blue, we get from the cheeseman on Ormskirk open market, he sells the best cheese for miles around. In the run up to Christmas his sales of GB went up 1000% because Jamie (smug sod) Oliver was recommending it on the box, this guy had been selling it for years. He is struggling to get any now thanks to Sainsburys but keeps some back for his 'special customers' a bit like the League of Gents, when its in.

Lanarkshire blue is another smooth deep blue with a cheddary texture well worth trying

Thanks for the blue tips.

I will hunt them down.

I have spent many a night with a pile of water biscuits and a pound and a half of blue cheese. Happy as a duck in potato peelings.

Each Christmas day evening dad rounds off the events with a nice couple of glasses of port and a slab of blue, the sweatier the better............at that point all life is contentment joy and peace

I got some Roquefort the other day, it was a great day.

Got to agree Monty, the sweatier the better, and I don't think they get much sweatier than Roquefort.

I think it's made from sheep.

In a cave.

Tremendous.

In deed it is a long dark cave, adds to the flavour

Spoilt for choice

Roquefort melting on a baked potato is so good it's a sin.:P
Has anyone tried 'Provolone' barbecued Argentine style?(y)(y)(y)
Queso Manchego with a good red wine (Ribera del Duero beats Rioja imho).
But hey, this is a bit like asking me my fave song, really depends on the moment.

Gazdalf, My bird wont go with any wools! (y). But she did say that your knob cheese is alot more pungent than mine.

She heard the rumours!

Azul will be mortified to find his thread hijacked in this way, you all know what he's like, tantrums later:unsure::unsure:

Back on topic

Just had home made cannaloni for tea, with, wait for it, Swiss Emmental grated on top. Some of the earlier posts had me dribbling (drooling that is, not leaving defenders in my wake as I home in on goal) on the keyboard.
G-G-G-Granville, f-f-f-fetch a cloth
