It's fun to neg people into oblivion and all. And at least Harry Headpatter was sniped before it was removed.
But I enjoyed it more to leave answers to people's posts or show support moreso than a 'like' really would. It felt like a nice alternative to clogging up threads. Or to show you enjoyed what the other person was referencing etc.
That said after seeing the grief it caused as a site extension, I can't blame the team for jibbing it off. And the amount of crying messages they must have received must have been substantial.
Seeing some seasoned posters genuinely crying about a few internet points is a privilege that will be missed though.
