I like Foo Fighters but there is an element of Status Quo about them. Rejigging the same song over and over has served Dave Grohl very well.

I thought they were superb last night. Never been a massive fan after Kid A bar the odd tune but I found the set absolutely superb last night.

Let Down from OK Computer was simply sublime. Not many bands can fuse melodies together like they can and make things work which sound like they shouldn't work.

I remember listening to Kid A through headphones absolutely blitzed, first time I played it and it was just so new, different, odd, surreal. You could hear the shifting from the bends to ok computer but kid a was just off the scale.

Not the type of album to listen to in the morning to get you ready for work and in a good mood but that first time I listened to it still haunts me in a mesmerising way even to this day. How to disappear completely is a beautiful piece of music.

A beautiful album - HTDC, Everything in it's right place, Morning Bell, Idioteque. Some insanely good stuff on that record.
