I said I loved Carlo, he reminds me of my dead grandad is all. Alex Fergusson was a bad tempered get who didn't like to loose, throwing shoes about and bullying players to win....I'm just hoping our side get to see a mere glint of that with Benny. I have no real insight into either Carlo or AF other than hearsay. Sorry for the confusion, its an opinion mate.. That's all.
I was just wondering if there was something I had missed.

Yes, AF comes from a different school than what is being taught today. Have you seen the documentary about him?

Ancelotti also has a rather cynical style, and usually only cares about the most experienced players, and those who are outside that circle he pays little attention to.

But in the end, managers have to be pretty cynical, otherwise it will often cost them their jobs. So I think you will never find a manager that all the players have been happy with. But how they are as human beings is impossible to know.

Expressing individual opinions is what a forum is for. I respect yours, but too many of your posts read like you’re trying to speak for us all and you’re not.

If anyone on the other side of the coin is doing the same then I’d ask the same of them.
perhaps you should focus on the actual points being made, rather than on focusing on who is speaking for who - it seems you are intent on making this a partisan matter - which unbelievably, when you consider the appointee is a failed kopite who even today has continued to insult the club - it has somehow become.

Frankly, its clear which side of the fence you are on, you are at the very least tolerant of this humiliation - stop dressing up your objections to people who want him gone as something else.

Some incredible gatekeeping in this thread

“you must do what I say and support Rafael”

Koff ye mings
No it is not all a one way road. It is 50-50. What gets me is that if he was a kopite why on earth would he want to take the Everton job. Look at it without blinkers and you will see that the RS job was just that....a job. Would you think HK, Catterick, Big Joe, Colin Harvey would have took the job at the RS.......No way. Think Moyes, Smith, Walker, Silva would have but not Evertonians like the fore mentioned. Benitez does not give a toss about the RS or he wouldn't even think about coming to us. It is the kopites that should feel aggrieved not us because he has just stuck 2 fingers up at them.

You aren’t making too many coherent points to be fair, you’re just being an insufferable cryarse who spouts this quasi militant nonsense at whoever isn’t also spitting their dummy out.

I don’t love the appointment but I definitely don’t hate it. I think it was a sensible call when we needed one. Ultimately, time will tell. What will absolutely NOT happen is him getting sacked before a ball is kicked because Crying Kev on the Internet fought the good fight.

If he's the ruthless, meticulous operator that those supporting him claim, there'll be a purge on the level of that video where Saddam takes power before the transfer window closes.

No it really isn't. Spain would have had to have brought Rafael out of his contract for him to manage them. I believe Ashley even offered to loan Rafael to Spain, but he wanted compensation for it.

No sorry, this is a flagrant lie and should be challenged.

Every Spain manager since Luis Aragones has played a progressive, possession based style of football than even the fat Kopite's biggest media fluffers (I.e. you) can't possibly claim he implements. Not even at Valencia.

The fat kopite rat would have quit on the spot if there was even remotely a chance at the national team.
