I've been to see sports all around the world (as a tourist, like you at GP) and would never claim to be a bigger fan than the people who turn up week in week out. I would also not cry like a little bish when a club I follow lose a manager because it will impact my ability to monetise my "support" of that club like you did when Carlo knacked off. Your a plazzy supporter but I doubt you know what that means.

This is probably a debate for the ages, but does that mean all out of towners, overseas fans, and armchair fans aren't real or valid? What about the kid with a congenital disability which stops him getting to the game, for instance?

To be honest as much as the thought of Benitez sticks in my craw, that's probably the attitude that needs to be at the heart of returning the club back to where we all think it should be.

I'm not expecting anything more than an addressing of the fundamentals for the first dozen games. Absolute shambles to get to a position that Benitez could even be considered let alone hired. I can see the whole season being a long grind - I can see a return to the dogs of war days - but I hope with Richarlison and James then it should be more attractive.

What a rubbish position to be in that a manager who can make the team graft is enough to overlook his rs background.

Well easy money doesnt need to be chased. We made it easy for those two with renewed contracts when they were clearly substandard. Those other players you mention made us over £100m profit.

I'm all for supporters from everywhere, @Death gets on my nerves because he calls out other supporters for not being proper fans despite throwing a wobbler when Ancelotti quit because he might lose a few quid as a consequence because some casual fans might stop watching his YouTube channel.
