My decision is made.
I won't be there.
Going anywhere nice on holiday?

But seriously, don't give in to knee jerk reactions. I know that many - if not the majority - are, to put it mildly, disappointed if not distressed by this but it's the fans like you who have and show passion for the club that we need right now....and no Kopite has ever hounded me out of my 'home' so don't let this appointment do that to you. You'll be around long after Benni has retired with the £millions he will receive towards his pension fund when he gets hoisted.

Caveat: I sincerely hope though as I have with each of the previous incumbents that he can bring success - as a Club we are so long overdue the pain is becoming palpable - but I do not hold my breath

If I live to be a 1000, which I won’t I’ll never understand you . I get other posters who I vehemently disagree with but you , nope
What's there to not understand?

We have a new manager. We now get behind him.

As I said to you before - Benitez is way down the list of people who have ripped the piss out of Everton. The boards of directors, coaching staff and gutless tanking players are way higher on that list for me.

I was against it all the way until it was confirmed, it's done now and there's absolutely nothing me or anyone else can do about it other than support the club as usual and hope he can get the team playing, and get the best out of them, he's certainly got some big gonads on him, something we've been lacking

Didn’t want him, didn’t expect him despite the rumours saying otherwise. But he’s now managing the club I love so I hope he does an amazing job and puts us in a better place. At least now we can actually start buying players and getting rid of some too.

I get being salty about him calling out Everton's/Moyes' small club mentality after parking the bus and celebrating a 0-0 draw that much. Personally I don't think he was wrong. If you want to hold onto that after all these years, that's your choice.

For me he's tactically sound, a winner at most of his stops (truthfully I don't care what his record under Mike Ashley pre-bigger spending and in China are), and cares about his reputation. He won at Chelsea after saying he'd never work for them. Those are the kinds of things managers say and do, they aren't fans like us.

He’s in now. Big transfer window coming up.

If he can help Marcel miraculously get rid of some of the filthy wastrels stinking the gaff out, get in some shrewd signings and improve on last season’s league position that’ll be a decent first year.

I’ll accept nothing less than a PL and FA Cup double in his second year.

Joke of an appointment. Not only has he belittled the club in the past, he is also a washed up manager who has been picking up his retirement fund in China for years. He won't last and we will be in the same position with a new manager wanting to change the style again with players he doesn't want. The club is run by clowns.
