Im not solely blaming Rafael for this form...BUT we lose the next 2....and its going to get very hard to keep him.

Just have the vision of us being 4-0 down in the Derby, the away section asking Rafael for a wave......and he does.

The rage will be on a new level.

I do have some sympathy for the manager given the injuries we have had. Would we be in the same position if Doucoure, Mina and DCL were all fit? Probably not.

However, lose to Brentford with the Derby looming then it’s looking bleak. It all comes down to whether Moshiri genuinely believes Benitez is the person to turn it around and is willing to give him time to overhaul the club. History tells us that may well not be the case.

It's just weird that you said that Benitez did a worse job than Bruce, whereas now if anyone says that you lose your mind and start talking about random managers for 7 or 8 pages. Did he do a worse job than Bruce? Maybe we should give Bruce a try given you think he's better than Benitez and your well into Benitez as is evidenced by any day's content on this thread?

Not sure we can get him now he's thrown his hat in the ring for the UTD job, apparently he is "Very Interested" UTD on the other hand are a bit "meh!" Sure @ForeverBlue92 will be extolling his virtues on limited budgets in here soon and who knows maybe even UTD will sit up and take note! lol

Benitez was worshipped whilst Bruce wasnt when ultimately they did a similiar job i.e. midtable finishes.

Thats the hypocrisy I rightfully pointed out and will still point out.

Ancelotti had us 10th & 12th after spending £70 million and was worshipped.

Benitez has us 11th with spending £1.7 million and is heckled as our worst ever manager - thats the hypocrisy I rightfully point out...

Wasn't a fan of his appointment. Knew everyone would turn on him. But the main reason we're uncompetitive is FFP. Our squad isn't much better than it was last year and we're crippled with injuries, so I'm not surprised to see where we are in the table. We've been mid table for years now. Sacking Benitez won't achieve much.

Anyone can dig out a post out from any time period and position it as having an opinion one way or another the majority of us just CBA with how futile an exercise it ultimately is.

99% of GOT must believe DCL is garbage based on one post you dig out years ago when he couldn't score in a brothel.

Newcastle fans over hyped Benitez and worshipped him wrongly like the Blue Geordies did to King Carlo.

That doesn't in any way change the facht that im willing to give Benitez a chance here and now certainly more than 11 games with an injury crisis and no backing in the summer.

Why would calling out hypocrisy make me a Kopite?

The phrase Blue Geordie is coined from a section of Evertonians doing the exact same thing with Ancelotti and Benitez that Newcastle fans did with Benitez & Bruce.

Worshipped one and hated the other despite there being little difference in the two in terms of achievements at the club / league position etc.

It's quite laughable that people are now stating he's been here longer than he has to try and make him look worse.
