He's not my hero, and neither will he be gone this side of the new year.

I think youlve got this all wrong. You and the others who are stampeding to get him sacked. You've let fury get in the way of rational analysis.

The owner has handed Benitez nothing. He's been here 5 months. That's not a scenario we'll see a sacking in.

Koeman and Silva - all handed massive cash, all handed time. Benitez will in all likelihood be no different...or at least some cash and take it through to the summer and then appraise it.
I don’t understand what’s so contentious about this. RB certainly needs to help himself with in-game management, team selections and occasional post-match remarks but removing the manager (at further considerable expense to the club) after a few months in post brings its own set of problems.

Continuing this kind of form may make it untenable in the coming months anyway, but at some point we have to acknowledge that changing the manager doesn’t fix the problems at the club and is compounding them instead.

Evertonians are known for their patience and their logic.

I don’t think there’ll be calls for Benitez to go at this stage. Yes we’re four places lower than we finished under the great Carlo Ancelotti last season, but most blues realise that you can’t be expected to achieve much when your best players are all injured for months on end. The injury situation has cleared up somewhat and against Brentford we were only missing our best defender (Mina) and our two best attackers Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. But we were desperately unlucky. We had 61% of the possession, almost THREE TIMES as many shots on target as Brentford and we should have had at least two penalties.

The next two matches are crucial. If we cannot get results at home then we’re in trouble. I remember when we last won the league and the great Howard Kendall said something along the lines of “It was our home form that did it. How can you not win the overwhelming majority of your home games when you’re playing in front of these fans? They’re like a 12th fan. They encourage you from the first whistle to the last.”
He's gone 1 win in 10 matches and winless for 2 months. He's a dead man walking. Sacked before Christmas.

How many more months do you want to see us go without a win?

He needs sacking in the morning.

A decent draw at Old Trafford, no doubt about that. But some of the pro Benitez cheerleaders are really overselling it. I mean like, some people are celebrating a draw as if it was a win. A draw against a United team, managed by the managerial maestro that is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at that. So settle down there now kids, and stop jizzing yourselves. It's a decent start to the season but it's how you finish, not how you start that counts.
A lot of people laughed at this post. Who's laughing now eh?:D

Mate we're in trouble already. He's toast if we lose the derby. Hmm mentioning that man, and the late great Howard Kendall in the one post.

If Rafael goes, what about bielsa? Leeds aren’t doing that great, they might be willing to let him go. We need an identity coach, and bielsa is a good one.

Please not Nuno.

This Rafael out nonsense has to stop. Get your frighin head examined. So he put on Rondon too long so what. Ole supposedly sidelined Van de Beek or whatever his name is, then he got a start and look what happened. Should Tuchel be sacked for putting on Werner too long? Benitez has us playing a lot more attacking than under Carlo, turned games around and fought hard against the likes of man u. But no, not enough for you lot. You want Dyche and have us go back 60 years. Is that what you want?

Our squad is assembled to play swashbuckling fast super footballl. Except brandsen recruits are all 2nd or 3rd tier charlatans. You cant make a Dyche team from that. Its neither defense nor attack and the ffp rules means this is what it is for the next 6 or 8 months. Indeed, the reality is that we need to avoid relegation and then build from that. Anything extra is a plus. But Rafael out blues, get your head out of your behind and quit this entitlement [Poor language removed].

You support Rangers don't you? On that basis alone please stop with this. We went there in pre season and got hammered. They've possibly one of the top 5 strongest squads in world football. We had injuries all over the shop. We deserved a victory. That's progress.
And no wins at all since then. You have a very funny definition of the word progress.

Honestly don't think any other manager could get any more from this group of players. Ancelotti certainly couldn't, neither could Silva, Allardyce or Koeman. I'm definitely no Benitez fan, but sacking him will just be a repeat of our previous hire-and-fire cycle. Until we've seen the back of the likes of Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Davies, Iwobi, Tosun, Rondon, et al, we've no chance of getting any kind of respectable finishing place in this league, regardless of the manager.

No we don't need to avoid relegation. We should at bare minimum be targeting a top 10 finish. At least Carlo had us in contention for a european place. He got rid of the one player we had, of genuine class and quality. Just go away with your we need to avoid relegation, and then build from that rubbish.

Rafael Benitez is going nowhere, it wouldn’t make any difference even you hired Guardiola, Tuchel, or Klopp as assistant coaches to Rafael you still wouldn’t get tune out of this current side they are an utter shambles. What we need is Potter, Harry Potter that is with his magic wand and maybe some pixie dust sprinkled over the players. God elp us.

Ah rodrigues, a guy too injured or unfit to play. What an addition he was! And some return Carlo gave us the run from jan - may this year. It was complete [Poor language removed]. Not that he didnt try - almost all formations were tried, but all failed because of the disjointed nature of the squad. A frankenstein creation. At least Benitez gave us Gray, a fantastic prospect and much more of a handful than rodrigues ever was. But that wasnt enough either huh. The game before where he played a little below his usual contribution some blues started to slack him off as well.

We are in some bad times and maybe we even go down but we will go down together. You think giving Rafael pressure will help, fine. Go ahead. More misery, more restrictions after sacking him, more constrains for the next coach, another empty transfer window and similar situation next year. I thought you guys were team supporters but i guess i was wrong and some really are only here for the nice weatger scenarios. You oughta be ashamed of yourselfs.
