Every time in the past that Moshiri came out and told Jim White that he backs the Manager and he wont be sacked and needs more time, the Manager has been sacked not long after. It is an unmistakeable pattern from a really poor and clueless owner whom will definitely one day lead us into the league below.

Brands is rubbish and pointless, but it's not Brands playing the same "tactical plan" (assuming there is one) every week of whack it up to the big lad up front, like it's 2006. That's 100% the manager. Brands is a board member, ergo probably safe as houses.

In the past he was good at coming into decently placed clubs and pushing them on with his scattergun transfer policy where he could afford to spend millions on tat as the clubs he was at could soak it up (he isn't the only manager to do that, and it works for those types of clubs).

Take that away and he struggles. He is not suitable for this job. Never was.

Inter Milan & Real Madrid say otherwise. Even the myth of what he was good at is just that, a myth.

He was a mixed bag manager with a couple of big pots under his belt and a series of acrimonious departures from top clubs where he tried to pin his consecutive failings and regression under him on others. Now he's a manager with a good track record in The Championship when in charge of one of the massive favourites for promotion. His ability as a PL manager were more or less matched by Steve Bruce.

If he takes us down then at least he's the best man to bring us back up so there's some solace and long term thinking.

Don’t think we’re in a position to pay him out of a 3 year contract now, and like you said it’s a pattern.... so what’s the point. This team has been crap under numerous managers now. We just need to keep Benitez and wait till he has funds to start being inn better players.

So, you can't claim James as a reason for lack of points.

You were also advocating selling DCL to Spurs in the summer.
 
Looks like we are going to rely on those going to the game on Monday and just to keep themselves warm is to shout to get this fraud out. It's either Mosh is fed up with the fans demands or we can't afford the compo because if this was any other club he'd be gone .
This season Norwich sacked their golden boy manager .
I thought he would at least sack Brands or put out Saint Bill to pasture .
Look like they are counting on the happy clappers again .
Disgrace.

They won't pay him off though they'll put him on gardening leave and keep paying him on the drip till the end of his contract.
 
We have no money and a squad with a reputation for getting managers the sack, and very few sellable assets. What decent manager would want to join? The best we can do is find a progressive up and coming manager, and in that case it makes no sense to throw them to the lions with the fixtures we’ve got coming up. Moshiri should be making plans under the assumption we need a new manager in Jan and some backing in the market, but I have absolutely no faith. If we’re going to have a new manager bounce it might as well be with winnable fixtures and DCL back. Just have to stick with RB for now and see what happens
