As random as Moshiri is, I just can't see a DOF going on Sunday then the manager going on Monday. Benitez has been publically backed (for what that's worth if results continue, a la Koeman); just seems to me if the owner had decided to boot them both, would make sense to do it at the same time. Why wait 1 day? Benitez is his man on Sunday, but 1 more loss and suddenly he's not?! Doesn't make sense to me (I use the S-word loosely when referring to Moshiri and this club right now).
The only thing is if rumours are true Brands walked with supposedly no severance pay. Benitez would never do that cos its never his fault- hopefully they're hammering out a severance pay for him rather than him being handed a win and more control. #Benitezout.

I've read different reports, some of which say there was the 'negotiated' or 'agreed' severance of 1 years salary. No one of which from official channels (or Jim White), so right now, we're really all just guessing over the terminology of his departure. Seeing how most managers contracts are 1 year salary severance or continued payment until other employment is found, it's not hard to believe Brands contract was probably similar. ~£3m pay off for DOF is a lot cheaper than ~£8m for the manager.

And I was a naive fool.

Now I've reached Evertonian Zen and realised no amount of shouting or cap typed words will get me what I want when it comes to this club.

You'll reach the acceptance phase at some point, you all will.

I agree with this, Everton is a massive part of my life like alot of you. Perhaps its time to be a bit Meh when it comes to Everton because all it is really is a rich mans plaything that he will run and do what the hell he wants with it.

I`ve been vocal on previous managers but my god The FSW is by far the worst and most devisive yet he is the one Moshiri is backing to the hilt with the future of the club. Benitez must go ASAP, we need to make that happen. I can not fathom the damage he will do...

Moshiri has handed everything Benitez wants to him on a Silver Platter... Absolutely disgusted by our owner...

The main problem here is that Benitez has achieved his best results transfer-wise when he signs lots of players and turns up a few gems. Whereas with our restrictions we need to be absolutely precise and sign a small number of as close to guaranteed successes as we can get. Not great.
Could mean for the time being he'll stick to players he knows. Expect Longstaff in January.

Everton paying 8m for a kopite legend to come in destroy our club and have the fanbase at each others throats. The sun never stops shining on that shower ofshit.

Pretty sure Fernando Torres and Xabi Alonso are a bit busy at present, thus off the market - althought I hear that lad he had in central midfield at Beijing Rovers was considered the 'Chinese Li-Tie' (wait, no hang on, that's not right.....)

Yet you make 100s of posts a week.

Because I love the club... but im not naive enough anymore to believe I matter one jot in the grand scheme of things.

If I give up my season ticket 1 of 10,000+ on the waiting list will be more than happy to snap it up.

If I say some nasty things online about the owner/manager who ultimately reads and acts on those words?

Hence why you all need to just get behind the manager now - he'll go when Moshiri says he will, none of us have say in that decision.
