I'd love to know when the last time 5-10% of the fan base doing a mickey mouse gesture for one match sent a billionaire owner running for the hills begging forgiveness and reform
Since the protest was announced, we've had an emergency board meeting and the departure of the DoF mate. That happened in a matter of days. It's obviously having an impact on them, you're ploughing a lonely field arguing otherwise.

This post shows how naive you are - I must have been living in a cave for the past 27 years whilst Benitez ran the club into the ground.
As you know, Jimbo, I want Benitez, Moshiri, Kenwright, DBB, the whole lot of them out. Brands is just one down, as far as I'm concerned. However, Benitez is the clearest threat to our survival as a Premier League club so needs to be thrown out asap. The only naivety being shown in this forum is by those who think that Benitez is somehow the man to arrest the insipid performances that he has so far presided over.

What makes you think one caused the other? Surely the worst run of results in 20 odd years caused the board meeting, no? Or was it a group of people on the interwebs screeching "ey laaaar fukkin ell kidder, i'm making a banner on a bedsheet and walking out after I've paid me money laaar". Which is it?!... I'm not saying the board are tone-deaf to fan unhappiness -and certainly not after a derby hammering we all expected- I just have a had time believing a billionaire businessman from Iran, who couldn't give 2 fuchs about Everton, not really, not when he came here because the Arsenal thing wasn't going to happen, makes his decisions based on what SEEMS to be a minority of fans being annoyed, but who are still 100% happy to pay their money. Makes no sense to me. IF 60-80% of the ground walk out, I'm 100% happy to say I underestimated the planned protests. If it happens game after game until REAL change, I'm happy to say I underestimated fan power. Right now, I don't see either of those things, or anything close to that, but I'll certainly look forward to the 27th minute tomorrow just out of curiosity if nothing else - AND what the Rafael loving media have to say about it (assuming they cover it at all).

You wanted Benitez gone before a ball had been kicked so stop with the nonsense.

I know it
You know it
We all know it

Own your prejudice.

Why do you want him though?

Like, what has he done in the five months he's been here to warrant your support?

We've won four games out of 16 and three of those came in the first four weeks of the season.

We didnt want him in the first place. That's a legitimate view point.

It is - but you cant use results to claim superiority when you never give him a chance from the start.

If we get tonked 4-0 tomorrow and I declare FSW OOT... then my conscience is clear that I at least gave him a fair crack of the whip and some allowances for results.

Now can others who called him a fat pig, waste of space etc from day one say the same?
