What makes you think one caused the other? Surely the worst run of results in 20 odd years caused the board meeting, no? Or was it a group of people on the interwebs screeching "ey laaaar fukkin ell kidder, i'm making a banner on a bedsheet and walking out after I've paid me money laaar". Which is it?!... I'm not saying the board are tone-deaf to fan unhappiness -and certainly not after a derby hammering we all expected- I just have a had time believing a billionaire businessman from Iran, who couldn't give 2 fuchs about Everton, not really, not when he came here because the Arsenal thing wasn't going to happen, makes his decisions based on what SEEMS to be a minority of fans being annoyed, but who are still 100% happy to pay their money. Makes no sense to me. IF 60-80% of the ground walk out, I'm 100% happy to say I underestimated the planned protests. If it happens game after game until REAL change, I'm happy to say I underestimated fan power. Right now, I don't see either of those things, or anything close to that, but I'll certainly look forward to the 27th minute tomorrow just out of curiosity if nothing else - AND what the Rafael loving media have to say about it (assuming they cover it at all).
